The service

PicsFit is a free, local-only image processing tool that runs entirely in your web browser. It is provided as-is with no warranties, express or implied.

Your content

You are solely responsible for the images you compress. By using PicsFit you confirm you have the right to process those images.

Because everything runs locally in your browser, your images never reach our servers. We have no access to them and no ability to retrieve, share, or recover them.

Browser support

Different browsers support different image formats and codecs. We cannot guarantee that every format is available in every browser. The tool will fall back to the closest supported format and tell you when it does so.

Very large images may exceed your browser's memory limits. The tool detects this and either resizes safely or asks you to reduce the image first. Performance varies by device.

No fitness for purpose

PicsFit is intended for general-purpose image compression. We do not warrant suitability for any specific use such as legal evidence, medical imaging, or archival purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PicsFit and its maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this service.
