Why use this tool
Your photos never leave the device
Watermarking runs entirely in your browser with Canvas. Nothing is uploaded, stored or proxied — which matters most for the unpublished work people watermark.
One preset, any image size
Every size is a percentage of the image's short edge, so the same settings look right on an 800px thumbnail and a 6000px original, landscape or portrait.
Text, logo or full tiling
Drop a wordmark in the corner, place a PNG logo anywhere, or tile a repeated mark across the whole frame to deter reposting.
Batch with ZIP output
Apply one watermark to a whole set and download everything as a single ZIP.
How it works
1Drop one image or a batch. Nothing uploads.
2Pick text or logo, then set size, colour, opacity and rotation.
3Choose a corner, drag it freely, or switch to tiled.
4Export — one file downloads directly, a batch downloads as a ZIP.
Best practices
Keep opacity between 40% and 70%: readable as a claim of ownership, not so heavy it ruins the image.
Add an outline or shadow when watermarking photos with mixed light and dark areas — flat white text disappears over bright skies.
Use tiled mode for proofs and previews; a single corner mark is trivial to crop out.
Corner marks read best at 4–8% of the short edge. Larger starts competing with the subject.
